In 1979, closure of Firestone in Montreal gives the opportunity for Mr Roger Dandeneault, manager for the enterprise, and his son François Dandeneault to start their own business they will call « Centre de Pneus D.D. enr. ». So it is during this same year, that together they will raise a building behing their own family house to establish a tire vulcanisation center for trucks; this is how Centre de Pneus D.D. enr. started his activities.

As François found a job as a travelling representative, he worked part time in the family business, working on evenings and week-ends, until Centre de pneus D.D. has enough customers to be able to work full time. After only a few months, the quality of the work and the good customer service ensure that the need for vulcanisation increase fast enough that François has to work full time. From this point, his spouse Claire St-Georges take the responsability of the company administration working only a few days per week.

In 1982, the growth of the company that keeps on leads the owners to find a more spaceful office. The location that is choosen is on St-François Boul. in Terrebonne. This new location allows to offer increased services; tires sell and repairment for heavy trucks are now available. Truck drivers can now buy new, used or referbish tires in addition of repairing damaged tires. It is that same year that the owners of the company will begin the process to incorporate. Centre de pneus D.D. becomes a corporation.

The name of Centre de pneus D.D .inc has become their best publicity, and this is still demand that leads Centre de pneus D.D. inc to move to another location with still more space. After a few month, and a few thoughts and discussions, the owneres decided to buy their own building. That's why in 1985, the share holders decided to buy some terrain and raise a building dans le parc industriel de Terrebonne.

En 1990, de plus en plus détaché, Roger Dandeneault pense à se retirer graduellement du marché du travail. C’est donc le 6 novembre que François Dandeneault achète les actions de son père. Ce dernier demeura au service de Centre de Pneus D.D. inc. comme vulcanisateur quelques années pour se retirer complètement du marché du travail en 1994.

Puis en 1998, pour réponde à la demande de sa clientèle toujours grandissante Centre de pneus D.D. inc achète un camion afin d’offrir le service routier à ses clients camionneurs, quelques mois passeront avant qu’un deuxième camions soit acheté mais cette fois pour le service routier de la machinerie lourde.

L’inventaire de pneus toujours grandissante oblige l’agrandissement de la bâtisse au printemps 1999. Depuis, François Dandeneault et Claire St-Georges garde la même philosophie ce qui en fait leur réputation offrir des produits et un service de qualité.
